Finance Committee

• Audit books twice annually
• Investigate, apply for, and manage grants
• Treasurer will be chairperson of Finance Committee

Treasurer

• Receive and disburse funds
• Maintain financial records
• Prepare Budget and present annual report
• Present Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statement to membership on a monthly basis

Web Site Committee

• Maintain website
• Maintain Directory of members and business roster

Calendar Committee

• Keep web site calendar up to date

Activities Committee

• Create and manage calendar of events throughout village
• Coordinate with other community organizations (i.e.: Parades, Blood Drives, Fund Raisers, Charity, Civic & Library Events, Elections)
• Receive and evaluate membership suggestions

Fundraising Committee

• Review and evaluate fundraising activities
• Coordinate with advertising and calendar committees

Public Relations Committee

• Take photographs and distribute
• Provide activity updates to The Pride, Neighborhood News, Newsday, WALK, etc.

Advertising Committee

• Manage EICC ads
• Works with treasurer on flow of funds from ads

Nominating Committee

• Review candidates for election to board of directors

Membership Committee

• Welcome new businesses to the neighborhood
• Contact local businesses
• Work with Secretary and web site committee on updating membership role and develop and maintain village business directory

Policy & Procedures Committee

• Meet with committee chairs and officers to establish and modify procedures
• Oversees creation of manual to centralize web site

East Islip Vision Committee

• Review "East Islip Vision Plan"
• Explain and promote plan to members
• Meet with town planning department, developers, and other chambers of commerce

Morning Networking Committee

• Set up morning meetings once a quarter
• Promote membership for those who can’t come to evening meetings
• Provide consistent networking opportunities
