Message From The President
"Beginning in early 2007, several business owners in East Islip began asking a simple question," Why is there no organization working to promote the identity and benefits of East Islip?"
As we began to meet and set a plan in motion to address this concern, we were pleasantly surprised by a Newsday article that was headlined, "E. Islip named in list of top suburbs" (Newsday Friday, May 11, 2007).
The article cited five reasons why East Islip was the only community on Long Island named on the list. It seems we have a lot to offer, AND IT'S A WELL KEPT SECRET!

WHY JOIN THE EICC?
There are many benefits in joining the EICC, some of which include the following:

| If you are in need of a coat this winter, the East Islip Community Chamber is collecting donated coats from the local community.
